Governing Climate Engineering - A Transdisciplinary Summer School

July 12th - 16th, 2010 at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg

 

In cooperation with its partners, the University of Calgary (Canada), the Carnegie Mellon University (USA) and the Max-Planck-Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg (MPIL), the Marsilius Kolleg held a summer school on “Governing Climate Engineering – A Transdisciplinary Summer School” from July 12th to July 16th 2010. The summer school brought together students and young scholars on all aspects of climate engineering with some of the field’s leaders from the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Switzerland and Germany. The keynote speakers covered a wide range of disciplines from the natural sciences to the social sciences including law. The summer school took place at the MPIL in Heidelberg.
